Checked out AdBrite exchange.

Amazing stuff. Every time I see operation model of a successful start-up "amazing" word comes in my mind.
These ppl just come up with pain points.

N Adbrite is one step ahead. They found two counter pain points and thus made an online exchange.

First pain point was online websites/publishers did't know how to manage their ad space, what to do.
Second pain point was advertisers had money for online spending but did't know where to spend, then what add to make, how to make and go forward.

Adbrite came up with a concept of exchange for both. Publishers can safely post their space/revenue specification and advertisers can post their expenditure/budget. And then their work is just making the two sides meet.

Additional things done by Adbrite - Analytics at back end and giving tools to advertiser for making their life easier. Those are the must add-ons.

Future Potential -
Cost per click - Banner -    Rs 9
                         Text    -     Rs 2.25
Cost per mille -  Banner -    Rs 4.5
Cost per view - Full Page - Rs 0.045

Rs 2.25 is too high. It can be decreased where Indian advertisers would be willing to pay. Also we need a place where cost per click data for all the sites is available. That would make a transparent exchange a better exchange.

Naked Pizza and the Tea Shop in India

Naked Pizza is great business.

They have done few things which are very good. They have gone exactly by the principles of Naked Pizza.

Firstly, they have focussed on health part of the most unhealthy food i.e. pizza. The unique thing about naked pizza.
Secondly, they have that distinction that remains sticked i.e. "naked".
And finally they are using Social Media to move ahead. Also may be it was tipping point of unhealthy Pizza that people wanted healthy pizza now.


While thinking abt Naked Pizza I got to remember my Green Tea idea. Its the same thing n should work in India. N on customer management side I have two ideas

1. Have a SLR and click photograph n send the photograph to person's email id. This would help in getting id and also a starting point for CRM.

2. Get M Surface n put it in cafe, it will get u the cool factor for cafe.

I have the list of products also ready with me. I just need to execute this idea. N I m sure its going to be big success.

Online FM Idea

I do believe that online FM has huge potential in India.

Idea 1
We need a FM channel where ppl can demand any song. They would need to pay/bid for the song.

Positives
Need to compare ad cost vis-a-vis bid cost of song. Ny one would pay gud amount for it. In a way all your time is virtually revenue earning.

Negatives
How do ppl driving the vehicle can bid easily and can have their song in next 5 mins.

Opportunities

Ppl might would want to wish their close mates at 12:00 and bid huge amount for that.

Overall a 3 rating idea I think.

Idea 2

Incase we can have a device where ppl can play ny song they want on you tube.

Positives

Play ny song, ny radio station from internet. Choice is the positive.

Negative

Cost estimation

Cost of Internet = Rs 500/month - Very costly.

Opportunities

Give an option for putting tata docomo stick and link it to you tube. No additional cost and value for money for customers.

Threat 

Big players would copy it soon.

Idea 2 is also 3 rating idea.

Improvement in GreyMine Idea

Checked out salesforce.com and chatter.

I think GreyMine(cloud sourcing consulting idea on which I worked with my friends for some time) should have an interface like salesforce.com. With features like dimdim and dropbox built into it. Also it should have a database of documents. A process by which documents are loaded automatically.

The site should have atleast these many features for it to be successful.

S-Commerce Future - Started by Suvidhaa

S-Commerce i.e. Service Commerce after e/m-Commerce  is a strong concept.

The company has got funding of $7 Million. And has a bright future in India. No one else is in this sector.

S-Commerce has a good product that consists of payment to services like mobile payment, utilities, movie/travel tickets, hotel bookings. Then it is making a good network of Kiriana shops who will be executioners. The key to todays market is make an excellent product that can be executed by a villager and u have got 100% sureshot funding.

Future Potential - No Limits.

MIT - R&D - Face Reader

A team at MIT is working on a project where they are making a system which could read expressions of a person called face reader.

System Used:
It uses motion pattren of diffrent points on your face along with movement of head/face to read the expression. It has 60% chances of getting it right as of now.

It could be used by ppl to read other persons expression.
Could be used to know the mood of the larger group.
