Marketing - Realtime Article Sharing - Google Reader

After sharing documents at google reader/mailing documents the next version seems to be real time.

New players have emerged with the concept that you can view your friends on white listed sites i.e. lets say I am on New York Times I would be able to view all my friends on the site. And can discuss and share articles with them. Nice concept.

VitaminWater is an example of the same. Its a product between water and cold drink. A new sector which has been created.

Idea - Group Dating Site

Just came accross a concept of Dating Web Site. Nice concept. I beleive ideas lie in English Language. Incase you can come up with a word/phrase-of-words that's not present in English Vocabulary u r hit as an entrepreneur and u r idea is a great hit. Example - E-Commerce, M-Commerce n now S-Commerce(Services Commerce).

Idea - Group Dating Website - People come on this website, makes groups, find another group and go for a dating. Till date I was awares of concepts like shaadi.com, match.com i.e. one-to-one, this is a concept which has broken all the boundaries like group-2-group.

Strength - A lot of ppl can be tapped in Metropolitans. No competitor as of now. Just a US site  Ignighter.com in India now. Would have first mover advantage.
Weakness - Competitors can start a parallel site easily. Taboo of group dating in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.
Opportunity - Package of Group Dating sites with Group buying activites. Deals for restaurant and gifts.
Threat - Ignighter.com already there. Data security.

Rate the Idea - Overall I rate the idea as 2.5 star.

Whats the problem that I am solving?
People in Corporate have often things to do other then office work for which they are tied up. Idea is to give them a person as and when they need.

Proposal
There's a pool of people that would be available at different centres in city like Delhi. U have to just make a call like just-dial. And get the person when u need. He would complete u r work and u r free.

Tasks would involve things like
1. Any Bill u need to submit
2. Any thing u want to pick-up and send
3. Buy/Collect anything for u
4. Clean/Cook(not sure)
5. Laundry(not sure)
6. Driver(not sure)

Revenue Model
U can charge on timely basis or annualy subscription charges like car repair service.

Things to be done
No. of people to be recruited for subscribed users. May be 1 person for 10 users.
